Reconnecting to Ancestral Ways and Healing through
Farming and Building Community

We are earthworkers on 3 small urban farm locations on the unceded lands of the Kalapuya, Chinook, Willamette, Tillamook,  Cowlitz and other bands of these lands known as Portland, OR

We are proud founding members of the Raceme Farm Collective and and Herb Producer for the Black and Brown Herb Exchange
We run a Free Booth at the Come Thru Market PDX
We work in partnership with other Black and Brown Farmers in the Portland Metro Area as well as farms in Puyallup Territory with Canoe Journey Herbalists and affiliated projects.

We grow medicinal and culinary herbs as our focus and some culturally specific vegetables
Make herbal offerings from our herbs as they come into season
Sell Bulk Dry Herbs

We Raise Rabbits for meat, Teach backyard Rabbitry and Home Harvesting Lessons and Sell Breeding pairs.

Flying DogHeart Farm is a QT Indigenous, Disabled Veteran Owned Farm

Past Participant of the Pathways to Farming Program originally founded by Mudbone Grown, LLC in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank

Flying DogHeart Farm is working to join the movement to change the face of farming and herbalism in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest by working in solidarity with the Raceme Farm Collective, Black and Brown Herb Exchange, Come Thru Market PDX, Canoe Journey Herbalists, Black Food Sovereignty Coalition and other Black and Brown Led efforts to connect Black and Brown people and our accomplices to land and relationship to plants.

We envision a diverse community of plant medicine participants - making, growing and building in community where food as medicine is not a novel concept.

Community with whom we build ...

We live in a web that is community and with in it we grow and learn. We heal and are healed. We help and we are helped. So is the circle of life and the radicalness of community. These are our allies. These are the people with whom we build with and to who we reach out for support and solidarity.
May you find comfort in knowing you are not alone. May you find that these places, groups, communities, I hold dear, serve you as they have served me. May you be of service in return to your community with what you gain.
